Letter of assurance for Penny Hermes is available once support is requested.
In accordance with the requirements of the DfE guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education and the Childcare Disqualification Requirements – Supplementary Advice, I can confirm that Kernow SEMH Support Service and Kernow Behaviour Support Ltd has undertaken all the necessary safeguarding, safer recruitment and vetting and barring checks for Penny Hermes. This includes Enhanced DBS Disclosures for eligible roles undertaking Regulated Activity.
In addition to this, she has undertaken level 3 safeguarding training which is updated every 3 years.
I can also confirm that Kernow SEMH Support Service will read and will comply with the ‘Code of Conduct’ as required by other agencies that we work with (including other schools and academies).
